Mission

  Thunder Hill Cinema is a collective of filmmakers based in Baltimore, MD. Our platform aims to support the local film industry. Though we host content, we are not interested in exclusive rights to material we do not produce ourselves. Instead, our distribution model generates exposure for local creatives who face an impossible media landscape that drowns out the little guy. This platform fosters an organic cross-pollination between media-makers and new viewership, letting great content speak for itself.

Business Model

  Thunder Hill Cinema LLC. offers subscriptions to maintain this website as well as to fund projects underway within our Filmmaking Collective - many of whom are featured on our Creator section. Support links on each Creator page as well as Ticket Purchases for individually priced items offer opportunities to pay Creators directly. We process these financial transactions with zero fees in order to maximize funds paid to Creators. Wix.com and Paypal each charge transaction fees, which are deducted from financial transactions on this site. We thank you for your support!
